Football Analyst Sutton Takes On Artist Olly Murs in Top Flight Predictions

The Gunners' ten-match victorious run came to an end by the Black Cats prior to the international break, however will the Premier League leaders bounce back against north London rivals Tottenham this weekend?

"{I believe like Arsenal are light years ahead of Tottenham currently but Spurs boss Thomas Frank will have a strategy for this match," stated soccer specialist Chris Sutton.

"The Spurs manager will attempt to neutralize Arsenal, who have not always been at their sparkling best this campaign - but Mikel Arteta's team typically still manage to win."

Sutton is forecasting results for all 380 Premier League games this term, versus AI, readers and a range of special visitors.

In week 12, he faces performer Olly Murs, who is a United fan.

The singer's latest album, Knees Up, is available on Friday.

Soccer and Parenting Experiences

Olly is a skilled soccer player as well as a accomplished artist and has been a star of several charity football matches down the years - but he is not planning a professional return as a footballer.

"{I actually played in a benefit match the other evening for a friend of mine," he explained. "The team was trailing 3-1 when I came off in the second half, and they proceeded to win 4-3, so you can read into that what you want!

"I still love football, but I hurt my knee a few years ago and it even now hasn't fully recovered. I wish I could play more but the uncertainty of the game means it's too dangerous for me in my profession to do it properly again.

"Plus I am 41 now, and we are not all Cristiano Ronaldo, are we!? No, I am very happy not playing football and I am gearing up for the time that my daughter or boy chooses to play instead."

Murs and his spouse his partner have two children, Madison and their son, and he is ready to emulate his dad by becoming their manager.

"I won't force football on our kids but I've previously told Amelia that if they do get the passion for it then I will have to go and get my coaching badges - and I will probably be coaching their weekend soccer team," he added.

"I watched my relatives play a lot, and I truly got into it, and I obviously was involved with a soccer team for a while too.

"My dad coached with us when I was a child, which is probably where I get it from. He managed our side for several seasons and had a wonderful time with it. That might be the next step for me as well, and I am excited to it!"

Premier League Predictions

Weekend, 22 November

  • Turf Moor, 12:30 GMT

Chelsea may have to be patient for Cole Palmer's return from fitness issues but their attack is already stronger with Joao Pedro and Delap both returned to fitness.

I still think this game will be fairly tight, however. The Clarets are well organised and their only home defeats so far have been against Liverpool and the Gunners.

It suggests a one-all draw to me, but I am in fact going to go with the London side to edge it for what would be their third consecutive Premier League win in a row.

Sutton's prediction: 1-2

The singer's pick: The Blues will be too strong. 1-3

AI's outlook: 0-2

  • Vitality Stadium, 15:00 GMT

Bournemouth have lost their previous couple matches - albeit both of them were away - but they got absolutely spanked by Villa last time out which shocked me.

On the other hand, West Ham won back-to-back victories before the international break and, although both of those fixtures were at their stadium, they do look strong again.

West Ham's only on the road win this season came at Forest in August, when West Ham manager Nuno was still Forest coach.

Therefore, what exactly do I go with here - will it be West Ham extending their streak under Nuno, or Bournemouth responding?

I will go with Bournemouth, because I think what happened against Villa was a blip.

The pundit's prediction: 2-0

The guest's prediction: Bournemouth are doing well but West Ham have picked up under their boss. 2-2

AI's pick: 1-1

  • Amex Stadium, 15:00 GMT

Brentford were considered one of the favourites for the drop before the season started, but they have impressed a several observers under Keith Andrews and are in good form with three wins in their past four games.

A family member told me to select Brentford forward Igor Thiago in my fantasy soccer squad a few weeks back and, guess what, I didn't listen.

The forward will likely score again on the weekend but I am nonetheless not going to pick him or back the away side at Brighton's ground.

They have not had much fortune on the travel this season, and Brighton are always decent at home. Brentford will try to attack on the break but I feel the home manager's side carry much more of a danger.

The analyst's prediction: 2-1

The singer's prediction: It could be a match where you think there is going to be a many goals but it actually proves to be quite close. 1-1

The computer's outcome: 2-1

  • Craven Cottage, 15:00 GMT

It is a massive game for the Cottagers, who have lost five of their last six matches.

They have got plenty of talent in their team but it still seems like they could be sucked into a relegation fight.

Regarding Sunderland, well they are the surprise package of the Premier League season so far.

Their performance in the 2-2 tie with the Gunners last time out was excellent. We have not seen anyone else disrupt the North London side like that this term, and Sunderland were more than a match for them.

The logical choice would be to support the Black Cats here, because they are obviously able of roughing the hosts up too and, the last time they were in this part of London, they beat the Blues at the end of last month.

But I am not choose that. Instead, I truly need to carry on opposing Sunderland with my predictions. I am taking a lot of credit for their positive results because they clearly enjoy to prove me wrong.

Considering Fulham's at Craven Cottage record, the only team they have been defeated by is the league leaders. Marco Silva's side will be extremely desperate for a positive result, so I am going to predict they will pick up three points.

Sutton's prediction: 1-0

Olly's prediction: I know Sunderland are doing well and additionally that the hosts are on a poor run... but Fulham have still been respectable at home this season. 2-0

The algorithm's outlook: 2-0

  • Anfield, 15:00 GMT

This is a hard one to call. The Reds have lost seven of their past 10 matches in every tournament, but could they be one of the sides who profit from the {international break|
